Virginia Mae (Gorden) Fields, 92, of Anderson, passed away, Sunday, January 15, 2017, at the Rawlins House in Pendleton, Ind. She was born March 24, 1924, in Long Beach, Cali., and resided most of her life in Anderson.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Victoria (Fields) Lee of Anderson; two brothers, Don (Altha) Gorden of Anderson, Keith (Mary) Gorden of Muncie; sister, Judith (Jack) Poling of Anderson; grandson, Devin (Leigh) Lee of Anderson; four great-grandchildren. Virginia is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and special friend, William Lee of Alexandria.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Gorden; father, Kenneth Gorden; son, Steven Fields and a brother, Malcolm Gorden.

Cremation will take place. A graveside service will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
