Helen Marietta Castor, 93 of Lapel, died on Monday, February 6, 2017, at Prairie Lakes in Noblesville. She was born on June 17, 1923, in Lafayette, Ind., to Bruno and Hazel (Gwinn) Troutman .

Marietta is survived by two daughters, Karen Frakes of Fishers and Jodi (Tom) Bennett of Anderson; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Betty (Jack) Ackerman of Lapel.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Joe.

Visitation will be from Noon to 2 p.m., Friday, February 10, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 Main North St, Lapel. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 10, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, with Pastor Dewey Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
