Donnie Maurice Edwards, Jr., 63, Noblesville, died Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville following an extended illness. Born on January 18, 1954, in Hattisburg, Miss., to Donnie Maurice Edwards Sr. and Martha Ann (Williams) Edwards Shattuck.

Survived by his fiancée of 33 years, Shirley King; four sons, Lee (Taran) Edwards of Dunkirk, Joel (Heather) Edwards of Lapel, Ryan Edwards (Sara Day) of Lapel, and Robert (Robin) King of Perkinsville; one daughter, Angie Holiday of Sheridan; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Tonya Hazelgrove and Debbie Lawrence; a brother, David “Buddy” Shattuck; and his dog, Jordy.

Donnie was preceded in death by his parents; his father, Dave Shattuck; and a brother, Eddie Shattuck.

Visitation were from 3 to 7 p.m., Monday, July 10, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 Main North St, Lapel. Services were held at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 10,  at the funeral home with Pastor Tony Cole officiating.
