PENDLETON–A return to their home course seems to have been just what the doctor ordered for the Pendleton Heights golf team Wednesday afternoon.

The return from injury of an experienced player didn’t hurt either.

Sophomore Danielle Tinsley fired a 39 Wednesday to lead the Arabians to a 195-201 win over Hoosier Heritage Conference foe Yorktown.

Senior Kiersten Maxwell shot a 51, junior Courtney Dawson came in with a 52, junior Haley Brown posted a 53, and freshman Ryann Norris added a 57.

It was Dawson’s second match for the Arabians after missing the first part of the season with a knee injury.

The previous day, the Arabians fell to Daleville 209-210 at Crestview Country Club in Muncie.

Tinsley shot a 47 to lead the Arabians and Dawson posted a 51 in her return to the links.

The Arabians will return to action on Thursday, August 31 at Delta.
