PENDLETON — Fresh Encounter Inc., management company of Needler’s Fresh Market, conducted a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new location Pendleton today, Monday, Dec. 18.

The ceremony took place at the former Marsh Supermarket location at 3015 W. U.S. 36. Festivities included product samples, giveaways and more.

“We are delighted to be hosting such a fun event for our customers around Pendleton,” director of marketing Julie Anderson wrote in a press release. “We are looking forward to serving this fantastic community.”

Needler’s Fresh Market plans to offer high-quality products made in its bakery and deli, along with a premium meat selection.

The Pendleton location is one of 14 new Needler’s Fresh Market Stores being rebranded from the former Marsh stores. Other newly branded locations include ones in New Palestine, Marion, Columbus, Hartford City, Elwood, Tipton, Richmond and Greensburg.

Fresh Encounter Inc. is a supermarket management company founded in 1995 by Michael S. Needler and the late Susan Cheek Needler. Fresh Encounter manages 60 retail locations in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.
