Carol Ann Wiggins

Carol Ann (Benefiel) Wiggins, 81, of Middletown, passed away on Jan. 23, 2018, at the Rawlins House in Pendleton. She was born June 1, 1936, in Anderson, and resided most of her life in Middletown.
Carol graduated from Anderson High School in 1955, and she was a homemaker.
She was a member of Pleasant Valley Christian Church. She enjoyed antiquing, shopping, cooking, but most of all spending time with her family.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Butch) Teague of Roanoke; son Eric (Jennifer) Wiggins of Markleville; grandchildren Joshua Riddle, Christopher Riddle, Skylar (Megan) Davis, Grace Wiggins, Lauren Wiggins; great-grandchildren Zarek M. Davis, Zoey Davis; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tessie “Ted” Wiggins; grandson Zarek A. Davis; her mother, Wilma Benefiel; and her father, Harry Benefiel.
Visitation took place from 4 to 8 p.m. Jan. 25, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services were at 2:30 p.m, Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tim Warrum officiating.
Burial took place in Anderson Memorial Park.
