LAPEL — Students at Lapel High School are making final preparations for their European tour in the fall.

This year marks the twenty-fourth annual “Students to Europe” auction as well as the twenty-fourth consecutive year for Lapel students to participate in a trip to Europe.

Students to Europe 2019 will sponsor a luncheon and auction Saturday, April 13, in the Lapel High School cafeteria/commons area.

An all-you-can-eat salad luncheon begins at 11 a.m. There will be a variety of salads available. Drinks are also provided.

Adult tickets for the luncheon are $7. The student ticket price is $3. Desserts will be available at the luncheon for $1.50.

A live auction follows at approximately noon.

Tickets can be purchased from any participating junior at Lapel High School. Tickets are also available at the door.

At this point more than 150 items have been donated for the auction. Some of the items are as follows: 55-gallon aquarium with stand and accessories, Cincinnati Reds tickets (4 view level or 2 terrace line), one night at the Conrad, kitchen and home items, woodwork, toys, tools, bags, Heartland Film Festival tickets, home inspection, last will and testament, and many gift certificates.
