MARKLEVILLE — Markleville Jamboree — with two days of outdoor entertainment and competitions — took place under sunny skies Friday and Saturday.

Adams Markleville Fire Territory defeated Markleville Police Department in its annual softball game on Friday, and there was a repeat winner — Hayley Leibovitz — in the 13-and-older category of a pizza eating contest on Saturday.

In addition to good weather, the event had “great attendance,” jamboree committee member Dianna Smith said.

Activities included a tractor show, parade, motorcycle show, live music, pet and prince/princess contests, and food and drink options.
