Traveling show looks at Indiana literature

PENDLETON — Pendleton Historical Museum is playing host to Indiana Historical Society’s traveling exhibit “The Golden Age: Indiana Literature, 1880-1920” through Aug. 25.

Drawn from collections belonging to IHS, the Indiana State Library and Indiana University’s Lilly Library, the exhibit explores what came to be known as the “Golden Age of Indiana Literature,” a time period in which Hoosier authors achieved both national prominence and popular acclaim.
