MUNCIE, Indiana — Ball State University graduate and Pendleton resident Katherine Ittenbach recently received the Award of Achievement from the Miller College of Business.

Ittenbach graduated with an MBA in 2012. She is president of SMARI, a market research firm in Indianapolis. She supports Ball State as a board member for the MBA program and sits on the board of directors for the Indianapolis War Memorials Foundation.

“At Ball State, the opportunities to be involved and to pay it forward are immense,” Ittenbach said. “The alumni share the same attitude when it comes to being part of something bigger than themselves.”

Along with Ittenbach, the college honored six more business leaders at the Alumni Awards Luncheon on Oct. 25.

“We are fortunate to have such distinguished and accomplished alumni,” said Miller College Dean Stephen Ferris. “Their professional achievements are an inspiration for our current students and shows what is possible with a degree from the Miller College of Business.”
