South Madison - Those with thrill-seeking personalities are about to have access to a new facility looking to cash in on the adventurous spirit this spring.

White River Zip Lines announced it is brining a $1 million attraction to South Madison County and would be open later this year.

The course will feature several options for those brave enough to climb the 75-foot launch towers.

“There will actually be eight zip lines total,” Marketing Director Jon Pianki said. “Our longest zip line, which is a dual racing line, will be over 1,000 feet long.”

Construction on launch towers, ranging in heights from 40-75 feet, has begun. Pianki said he hopes to have the entire operation up and running later this spring.

“We’re actually looking at a mid-April launch,” Pianki said.
