LAPEL – Most teams have one particular target on their schedules, and for Lapel’s football squad, that happens to be Frankton.
The Bulldogs beat their cross-district foe decisively for the second straight year Friday, Aug. 29, ripping the Eagles 56-25 in Frankton.
Joe Hart did the most damage for Lapel (1-1), with 323 rushing yards and six touchdowns.
Hart scored on runs of 70, 40, 19 and one yards in the first half, and took it in from two and 52 yards out in the third quarter.
“He played a phenomenal game,” Lapel coach Tim Miller said. “He’s a phenomenal football player.”
