Pendleton - Pendleton Heights won twice to take fifth place in last week’s Madison County Tournament, but later dropped a game at Rushville.

The Arabians beat Frankton the next night 60-30. PH held the Eagles to single digits in each of the first three quarters and led 32-13 at the half and 50-16 after three.

However, Rushville defeated the visiting Arabians 49-41 Saturday, Jan. 18. PH (11-5) led the Class 3A-fifth ranked Lions through three quarters and by as many as 14 points. Freshman Sam Hammel scored 13 points to lead the Arabians.
