Pendleton - The varsity wrestling team won three matches and dropped two Saturday, Dec. 1, at the New Castle Super Six. The Arabians opened the day with a loss to HHC foe New Palestine, ranked ninth in the coaches poll, by a score of 54-15.
The second round saw the Arabians matched up against Whiteland. The Arabians defeated a young and undermanned Warriors squad by a score of 66-8.
The Arabians then wrestled Bellmont in the third round. The Arabians dropped a 39-33 decision.
In the fourth round, Charlestown provided the opposition and the Arabians rebounded for a 50-21 decision. In the day’s final match, the Arabians defeated Franklin County by a score of 48-24.
