Pendleton - The Greenfield-Central baseball team felt like it gave away the opening game of a conference doubleheader to Pendleton Heights Friday, April 5.

In the nightcap, G-C pitcher Brendon Neal made sure the Cougars kept the victory well in hand.

Neal tossed seven innings of two-hit ball to lift G-C to a 4-0 win in Game 2 of the Hoosier Heritage Conference twinbill.

In Game 1, Pendleton Heights jumped ahead early and held on for a 7-5 win. PH’s Thomas Hall went 2-for-3, with two doubles and three RBI. Curt Talbert also had a pair of doubles. Hunter Cook had two hits, including a two-RBI double.
