Pendleton - While the Pendleton Heights Arabian girls basketball team went into sectional play looking for redemption against Connersville, what they came away with was more disappointment, as the Spartans ended the Arabian season 32-31.

Connersville had dumped the Arabians 39-36 in an earlier overtime loss.

Neither team took very many shots in the first half of the game. The score was just 5-4 at the end of the first quarter. Bad passes and turnovers plagued the Arabians in the first half. Connersville scored seven points from 10 PHHS turnovers.
