Lapel - Lapel wrapped up a season-opening, four-game homestand Friday, Dec. 13, and with it began a very tough stretch of games as well as its Indiana Crossroads Conference slate.

So far, so good for the Bulldogs. They upended Class 2A 10th-ranked Scecina 66-61, behind a career-high 15 points by senior Bobby Steele.

Mitchell Richardson also scored 15 points for Lapel (3-1, 1-0 ICC), which won its third game in a row. Brady Cherry added 13 points and seven rebounds, and Joe Hart added seven points off the bench.

The Bulldogs overcame a 13-1 Crusader run at the start of the game to lead 29-25 at the half.
