Lapel - Lapel’s boys basketball team opened its season last week by venturing into two other Madison County gymnasiums and getting very tough tests.

The Bulldogs got a preview, if not a victory, of what’s to come from one opponent, but did get away with a win from the other.

Lapel hung tough against Anderson Tuesday, Nov. 21, but missed what would have been a game-tying 3-pointer at the end and fell to the Indians 65-62.
