FRANKTON — The Wapahani curse has come back to haunt Lapel’s baseball program.
For the third straight year, the Raiders have knocked the Bulldogs out of the IHSAA tournament, this time 9-8 in the Monday, May 28, Sectional 40 final at Frankton.
The Class 2A third-ranked Bull-dogs struggled in the field in part with a brisk wind and therefore spotted Wapahani two leads, the last they couldn’t quite overcome.
