Pendleton - After years of benefiting from an artist community at his college campus, one of Pendleton’s small business owners has decided to bring the creative minds of the area together in hopes of inspiring local residents.
Hoping that the group one day will be able to host gallery openings, fund mural projects around town and host art classes for the masses, Christopher Berry, 40, said he’s helping create the Pendleton Artists Society.
“The one thing I’ve missed since college was being surrounded by other creatives and artists,” Berry said. “It’s something that inspires me and many others.”
