‘Indiana’s weatherman’ to be grand marshal

Paul Poteet will serve as grand marshal for the Christmas in Pendleton
Parade Saturday, Nov. 10. Poteet will ride in the parade and be
welcomed at an 2 p.m. open-to— the-public reception, immediately
following the snowball toss, at Pendleton Town Hall.
Poteet has been a part of central Indiana media since 1982.
“Indiana’s Weatherman” is a meteorologist and morning drive radio
character. Every weekday he’s heard on six radio stations, and his
Webcam Weather is seen on three newspaper and entertainment websites.
He produces and co-hosts the “Paul & Tom” Internet Radio Show. He’s
the co-host of “Pet Pals TV” and has been a feature contributor to
WTHR Channel 13’s “Sunrise.” Poteet is also a actor on broadcast and
corporate voice over and on-camera projects. He’s a frequent emcee

Pancake breakfast with a mission
Pendleton
Pendleton First United Methodist Church, 225 W. State St., will be
serving an All-You-Can-Eat Pancake and Sausage Breakfast from 7 a.m.
to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, in the downstairs Fellowship Hall.
This is the kick-off event for Christmas in Pendleton.
A Cookie Walk also will be available. People can purchase a box for
$5 and fill it with delicious homemade holiday cookies.
The church is handicap accessible, and an elevator to the lower level
is located near the entrance in the back parking lot.
All proceeds will be donated to mission projects, in particular the
KAFAKUMA Pastor’s Training Center in Zambia, Africa.
The church is located on State Street, a half block from the
downtown Pendleton area, within easy walking distance to enjoy
Christmas in Pendleton festivities.
