Pendleton - Two local Christian churches are working together during the Easter season to produce a Rock and Roll Easter Event at both locations. The goal of the collaboration is to bring more children closer to God.

“This is something that we really felt was important,” Pendleton Christian Church Children’s Ministry Director Shelly Hubble said. “We wanted the children to know Jesus, and that’s why we decided to put this together.”

Hubble said the Rock and Roll Easter Event will take place from 10-11:30 Saturday, March 30, at Pendleton Methodist Church and then will move to Pendleton Christian Church at 1 p.m.
