Anybody who knows me knows that I like games.
When we do “The Quiz” here at the library, I’m giddy with excitement to the point that my staff needs to tell me to settle down. My home has a basement full of games: pool, pingpong, card games, board games, even Pick Up Sticks and Tiddlywinks if the gang is feeling retro. My mom and I have played countless hours of cribbage. And, I do the crossword every Sunday.
So, when Matthew Stephenson, one of our reference librarians, came to me and asked if The Pendleton Community Public Library should participate in International Games Day, I got pretty excited.
