PTC rescheduled

Pendleton

The next Pendleton Town Council meeting has been changed from Thursday, July 4 to Thursday July 11. An administrative meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. and the regular meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Both meetings will take place at 100 W. State St., Pendleton, and are open to the public.

Free rummage during LVF

Lapel

A free rummage sale will be sponsored by the River Church from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. (or until all gone) on Saturday, July 13 during the Lapel Village Fair.

The church is located at 5th and Walnut.

Kiwanis Kar Show July 13

Pendleton

The second annual Kiwanis Kar Show, conducted in memory of Neal Shull, is scheduled for July 13 in Falls Park. The show will take place rain or shine. Registration will be from 8-10 a.m., judging will take place at noon and awards will be presented at 2 p.m.

Red Hat Chicks to travel to Rita’s

Pendleton

The Pendleton Red Hat Chicks will meet at 11 a.m. July 17 at the Methodist Church Parking Lot and travel to Rita’s Tea Room in Fishers for lunch at noon.

Members are asked to contact Barbara Mercer at 765-778-3868 for information by July 14.

Lions concert in the park series

Pendleton

The Pendleton Lions Club recently announced its summer concert series, which takes place in Falls Park. All concerts begin at 6 p.m.

Sunday, July 14 - Gordon Brooks. Music to include blues and popular favorites.

Sunday, July 28 - Shade & Shannon. This concert will take place on the 10th anniversary of Johnny Cash’s death and will include a tribute.

Sunday, Aug. 25 - PHHS Band, Chris Taylor and the Madison County Band Directors. Music will include jazz.

Due to a rain cancellation June 30, Lester Johnson and The Magic Box will perform at 6 p.m. Aug. 11.
