Pendleton - After a successful re-branding of the event last year, the Pendleton Business Association is continuing to add new events and more music for festivalgoers.
PBA President Rachele Lemon said several events are planned for the weekend of Sept. 6-7 in downtown Pendleton, most of which are sponsored by business members.
“When I first took over, the Fall Festival was just booths,” Lemon said. “Last year was the first year for the new format, and this year we’ve expanded everything. This year we have more than 20 businesses that have helped make this event possible.”
She said that the expansion of the Fall Festival includes more entertainment and a larger Kid Zone.
“We are having live entertainment all day Saturday, featuring local bands, Jacob Brown and Corey Cox,” Lemon said. “And from 6-7 p.m. Saturday, Dan Myers, from America’s Got Talent, is going to perform live on the stage.”
