Pendleton - Falls Park is hoping to make their trails a little scarier for patrons just in time for Halloween, but needs local help to pull off the event.
Falls Park Program Director Adam Christenson said the park needs the help of locals to bring a ‘Haunted Trails’ event to life.
“What we need for that to work are organizations, schools, groups or businesses that are interested in doing scary stations, maybe setting (up) a booth to enhance the event,” Christenson said. “We’re looking for around 10-12 groups to help with the Haunted Trails.”
He hopes to use the old Babe Ruth diamonds in the park as a “beginning area,” where attendees looking for a thrill could purchase tickets, and from there things would get scarier.
