Pendleton - Falls Park is trying to promote healthy lifestyles and bring events that appeal to people of all ages, and to that end, the park will play host to a Health and Wellness Fair this weekend.
“This is kind a different type of programming than normal,” Falls Park Program Director Adam Christenson said. “This isn’t going to be a league or a traditional type of fair. This is about getting healthy and staying healthy. We want residents to know how to live well.”
Christenson said the Health and Wellness Fair will take place from 3-6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20 and that the event could draw a different type of crowd than normal programming.
“This is the first kind of event like this that the park has hosted,” Christenson said. “And while it’s open to everyone, we think it might appeal to an older crowd.”
