Ingalls - Madison County Republican Party Chairman Russ Willis named a new member to the Ingalls Town Council Tuesday, Jan. 21.
“Today I appointed Chris Bradshaw to the Ingalls Town Council,” Willis said. “He was sworn in by Clerk Treasurer Kip Golden around 1 p.m. today.”
Bradshaw’s appointment comes after the unannounced resignation of Cameron McLane late last year.
“She had some philosophical differences with other members of the board,” WIllis said. “Her last day was Dec. 23.”
Willis said he did not wish to discuss those differences further.
After McLane’s resignation, state statute allows the the county chairman of the party to appoint the new member because there is only one precinct represented.
