Construction on spooky-themed sets started Monday, Oct. 14, at Lapel High School for a one-day haunted house that will be hosted later this month.
English teacher Anita Casterline said two of her sponsored groups are teaming up together to build and run a haunted house that will be open from 6-9 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Lapel High School Auditorium.
“Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) and the LHS Drama Club have decided to work together,” Casterline said. “We needed a fundraiser for both groups and thought this would be fun.”
Casterline said she got the idea for a school haunted house when she worked at Mt. Vernon High School.
