Pendleton - With some new additions and some key performers back, the Pendleton Heights girls swimming team is back in the pool ready for a season they hope will improve on last years momentum.
The Arabians lost a top diver (Hannah Cochran) and distance swimmer (Jillyan Jackson) to graduation, and a few of last year’s swimmers did not return, but coach Jeff Maydak has a group of sophomores who, as freshmen, performed very well.
“Majority of the people are back and 10 of our 17 are sophomores,” Maydak said.
