Pendleton - After a weekend of road games, the Pendleton Heights girls basketball team starts Thanksgiving week 4-0 with wins against Greenfield-Central Friday, Nov. 16, and Frankton Saturday, Nov. 17.
At Frankton, balanced scoring for the Arabians put them on top 50-45 with Kenzie Gustin finishing the night with 15 points, while Kiawna Cottrell added 13. Meghan Dawson and Tiffany Wertz had nine and eight points, respectively.
The Arabians took a halftime lead of 28-17 into the locker, but when the second half began, Frankton fought back in the third quarter ending it just four points behind at 38-34, but the Arabians held on to take the win.
Gustin also had a strong night on the boards with 12 rebounds and added four steals to her defensive game.
