Lapel - A nightmarish first quarter doomed Lapel’s girls basketball team against Anderson Saturday, Dec. 29, in the opening round of the Madison County Tournament.
The Bulldogs allowed the Indians to streak to a 26-2 lead after one quarter, and the guests never looked back, winning 66-33 in a battle between Class 2A Lapel and its Class 4A guests.
