Lapel - For the third time in five years, Lapel’s girls basketball team has started a season with five straight wins.
The Bulldogs last week picked up Indiana Crossroads Conference victories against Indianapolis Lutheran and Beech Grove, and moved to 3-0 in the conference.
On Tuesday, Nov. 27, Lapel defeated Lutheran at home 55-42, as four Bulldogs scored in double figures and Lapel built a 40-20 halftime lead.
Senior Morgan Tarlton had 12 points; sophomore Kirsten Rich, 11 points, and six assists; junior Kaitlin Dobbins, 11 points; and junior Mackenzie Boles 10 points, 12 rebounds.
