South Madison - After a long day collecting signatures at the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 6, the Executive Director of the Pendleton Community Public Library had what she considers good news for Markleville residents.
Lynn Hobbs said Adams Township residents, who recently had been in danger of losing library services, will continue to have access to the library after more than enough residents signed on to an agreement that raised the amount of taxes to the same level as those living in Pendleton.
“It went great,” Hobbs said. “It went way better than I expected.”
