Adult Reference Librarian Matthew Stephenson has expanded the number and variety of computer classes at the Pendleton Community Public Library. Amanda Matlock / Times-Post

Having already conducted a few classes in 2013, officials at the Pendleton Community Public Library are turning on their laptops and getting ready to continue their popular computer classes. Covering a large range of topics, from Internet safety to Pinterest for beginners, the classes are offered to anyone, free of charge, with a library card.

“There will be close to 30 classes this year,” Adult Reference Librarian Matthew Stephenson said. “Classes started in early January, and they will continue throughout the year.”

He also said there were nine different classes offered just this quarter.
