Pendleton - Some students and staff at East Elementary School dressed for the occasion — to celebrate Idiom Day — Thursday, Jan. 31. Fourth-grade teacher Nick Flowers came up with the idea for EES. The celebration of well-worn phrases fits with the fourth-grade curriculum, although everyone in the school was welcome to participate.
