INGALLS – Construction on a new truck stop near Interstate 69 began last week, a later start to a project that many nearby residents tried to prevent from happening at all.
Ingalls Clerk-Treasurer Kip Golden said ground broke on the new Love’s Travel Stop on Wednesday, July 9.
“All their permits are in order and they broke ground,” Golden said.
Golden said weather caused several setbacks to the project, which was supposed to begin in the spring.
