After five nights of Madison County basketball tournament action a few revelations came to mind.
One. If you were paying five dollars for admission, it was the best entertainment dollars a person could spend, and two, it is clearly obvious that the Madison County Tournament finals, both boys and girls, should be televised.
The rest of the state should see what we see every single year. They should be able to watch a game where the gym is standing room only, and the fans are loud, but respectful. They should be able to watch kids who know nothing but “all in.”
