New bakery opens in Markleville

Markleville - A Markleville woman wants to make her cake and sell it, too, after opening up the doors to her first business.

Wanting a bigger piece of pie, Jane Noel, a lifelong resident of Madison County who attended both Markleville High School and Pendleton Heights High School, opened Morley’s Bakery last week and said business is already going well.

“We’ve been taking a lot of orders already,” Noel said. “It’s very exciting.”
