Bulldogs baseball looks to build on last year’s chemistry

Lapel - Like all other spring sports this year, the weather has not cooperated with Lapel’s baseball team as it has tried to prepare for, and open, the season.

Just last weekend, the Bulldogs were able to get on their diamond after being forced indoors for all of the first two weeks of practice.

“Being inside is frustrating for everybody,” Lapel coach Brad Lantz said. “You do a lot of fundamental stuff over and over, and I’m not saying it doesn’t mean anything, but you’d love to be out on the field. You get a little bit behind in situations.”
