Pendleton - The trip to Shelbyville proved fruitful for the Pendleton Heights boys swimming and diving team as they finished first in Shelbyville Relays, Dec. 8.
This the first win for the boys in the relays in three seasons.
The Arabians were winners in the 1,000-yard freestyle relay, the Crescendo relay and the 200 freestyle relay.
Results: Pendleton Heights, 96; Shelbyville, 92; Columbus East, 90; Batesville, 70; New Castle, 46; and Haggerstown, 18.
Pendleton results: 200 medley relay, third, (Austin Walker, Austin Parrish, Tyler Young, Cody Hunt), 100 freestyle relay, sixth, (Clay Miller, Nick Dawson, Ryan Reske, Connor Williamson), 3x133 medley, third (Young, Ethan Blake, Miller), 2x500 freestyle relay, first (Brand, Austin Parrish 10:47.52); 375 freestyle relay, first, (Reske, Tyler Parrish, Aric Fredericks, Logan Kisinger 3:30.62); 3x50 butterfly relay, third, (Fredericks, Young, Walker); 200 freestyle relay, first (Tyler Parrish, Hunt, Brand, Kisinger 1:39.20); 3x50 backstroke, second, (Walker, Tyler Parrish, Fredericks); 3x50 breaststroke relay, second, (Austin Parrish, Blake, Kisinger); 400-yard freestyle relay, third (Hunt, Brand, Williamson, Miller).
