PH girls hoops lose two in recent outings
Knowing the games would be tough, and with girls out with injury, the Pendleton Heights girls basketball team dropped two games Nov 28 and Dec. 1 to Hamilton Heights and Mt. Vernon.
The eighth-ranked in 3A Marauders dominated the Arabians 56-33, holding the girls to single digit scoring in all but one quarter. Kenzie Gustin scored 11 for the Arabians, while Kiawna Cottrell added eight points and eight rebounds. Taylor Siefken scored seven and had six rebounds.
In the game against Hamilton Heights, the Arabians fell 71-46 with Cottrell leading the team with 11 points.
At 5-2, next up for the Arabians is a home game with Delta Dec. 6 and a road game at Alexandria-Monroe Dec. 10.
