PHHS presents 'A Christmas Carol'

Pendleton - The Pendleton Heights High School Pendleton Players are bringing their fall offering to the stage this weekend, with their Broadway musical version of “A Christmas Carol.” Conveniently coinciding with the Christmas in Pendleton celebration downtown, the musical will take place in the Loren G. Skinner Auditorium.

Director Jacqueline Brown said she planned for the play to correspond to the festivities in town and hopes that the event helps prepare everyone for the holidays.

“We hope this gets everyone in the Christmas spirit,” Brown said. “This lively musical has music by Alan Menken, who wrote the music for “Beauty and the Beast,” “Pocahontas” and other Disney classics. It is also based on the Charles Dickens’ novel of the same name.”
