Pendleton - If middle school sports are any indicator of success high school, then the Arabian wrestling future is looking pretty bright.

Just a little over midway through the season, the Pendleton Heights Middle School wrestlers have met many opponents, but lost just one match.

The team encompasses grades six through eight, but the sixth-graders are coming from the elementary schools.

“It’s tough for us to get a lot of sixth graders, because we have three different elementary schools with different start times,” coach Travis Welpott said.

Despite that, 22 sixth-graders have come out for the team.
