Pendleton - The Pendleton Heights girls softball team came up just one run short of winning its own Horseshoe Classic, losing to Lake Central 10-9 Saturday, April 7, eight innings in the championship match up at PHHS.
“What a ball game,” coach Rob Davis said. “Unfortunately we came up on the short end of the stick. Lake Central was a better team today.
“That doesn’t mean they are a better team, just a better team today.”
