Pendleton - The Pendleton Junior Baseball League is winding up for its opening pitch this weekend, when more than 1,000 children are expected to take to the streets for the annual Opening Day parade.

The parade, which takes place at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 28, will start at the Pendleton Elementary School campus, wind through town and end at the Falls Park Sports Complex, according to PJB President Christine Robinette.
