Pendleton - The Pendleton Town Council voted to rezone a parcel of land so that Dollar General can build a new, much larger store location.
The board unanimously voted to make the change to the property near Ind. 67 and Mercer Drive from an agricultural designation to business at its regular meeting June 6.
Town Assistant Planning Director Tim McClintick said representatives from Dollar General have been working with the town for several months.
