Pendleton - Logan Kisinger and Austin Parrish won Hoosier Heritage Conference titles Jan. 12 at New Palestine High School.
Kisinger turned in a 22.81 in the 50-yard freestyle for his first conference title. Parrish won his first title in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:03.28. Parrish had won previous titles in the 500-yard free-style in 2011 and 2012.
As a team, the Arabians finished third behind champion Greenfield-Central and Mt. Vernon. They improved their position three slots from sixth last year. Several swimmers finished in the top six in their respective events.
Kisinger finished second in the 100 freestyle, while Parrish finished third in the 500 freestyle. Tyler Brand earned a fourth in the 200 freestyle and sixth in the 500 free-style. Dylan McCammon was second in diving.
Aric Fredericks finished sixth in the 100 butterfly, while Tyler Parrish finished fifth in the 100 free-style. Austin Walker was sixth in the 100 backstroke .
Walker, Austin Parrish, Fredericks and Kisinger were third in the 200 medley relay. The team of Fredericks, Tyler Parrish, Brand and Kisinger were third in the 200 freestyle relay. Tyler Parrish, Brand, Walker and Austin Parrish were fifth in the 400 freestyle relay.
The boys host Mt. Vernon Jan. 17.
