PENDLETON – The town is continuing to work on a new five-year park and recreation master plan, and officials said the next step in the update process involves gathering public comment.
Pendleton’s Planning and Zoning Coordinator Rachel Christensen, who is also a member of the park plan steering committee, said planning “is going very well” but that now the group needs ideas from residents.
“We’ve recently completed an accessibility inventory of the park, but now we’re ready for some public input,” Christenson said.
She said the accessibility study involved “a complete inventory” of all park properties.
