Pendleton Heights golf teams place second, seventh

Pendleton - In their first outing of the season, the Pendleton Heights boys golf team traveled to Yorktown April 6 for the Yorktown Invite.

Competing as two teams, the Arabian “White” team finished 2nd  with a score of 328. Rylan Denney, Trevor Denney, Colin Proctor and Zach Farrer all finished with an 82, while Tyler Meyer had an 88.

The “Green” team finished 7th with a score of  355. Chase Simpson had an 81. Luke Groninger and Austin Zerkel scored 91s. Cody Branham had a 92, and Daniel Amrine scored 96.

The team travels again to Yorktown on April 10,then host Noblesville on April 11, with the Monroe Central Invitational on April 13.
